Terms of Use
By downloading or using Routine you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
License
Routine is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these terms and the standard EULA differ, the standard EULA applies.
Free use and Routine Premium
Routine is free to download and use. Core tracking — items, counters, timers, past-day lookup and settings — requires no purchase. Routine Premium unlocks streak statistics, the 12-week heatmap, the uptime view, reminders and Home Screen widgets.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Monthly — an auto-renewing subscription (US price $4.99 per month; local prices vary).
- Lifetime — a one-time purchase (US price $24.99) that does not renew.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The monthly subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Restore previous purchases from the upgrade screen ("restore purchases").
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Your data
Your routine data is stored on your device and is not backed up or synced by Routine. Deleting the app deletes that data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
Not health advice
Routine is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide medical, health or professional advice.
No warranty and limits of liability
Routine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or missed reminders. Reminders and widgets depend on iOS and may not always arrive or refresh on time.
Changes
I may update these terms; the current version is always at this address.
